Totes Gebirge (“death mountain”) combines photographs by Johann Schoiswohl and Agnes Prammer. With two very different photographic approaches they both address the topic of death and mourning.

Each new edition of Totes Gebirge has changed the content. The third edition of 2020 takes place eight years after Schoiswohl started going to the mountains. The fog over the peaks has lifted somewhat. The inhabitants of the deserted landscapes return.
The isolated protagonists of Prammers wetplate portraits are joined by their offspring.
